2 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari : This short wildlife safari will take you to Uganda’s smallest savannah national park which is also the closest to Kampala. It is located in Kiruhura district, Isingiro district and Mbarara, just about 5 hours drive from the city. The major activities while on the safari are; game drive and boat cruise. Lake Mburo national park is home to zebras, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, and elands which you should expect to see.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Afternoon boat cruise
Right after having breakfast at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, set off to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. You will have an en-route lunch, traverse the Ankole plains to the park, and while there, you may spot impalas, zebras, hyenas, bushbucks, warthogs, and various bird species. On arrival, head for the afternoon boat cruise on L. Mburo. The 2 hours launch cruise rewards visitors with views of hippos and crocodiles. After this activity, you go and check in at your booked lodge.
Day 2: Game drive and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover at Uganda equator
Have an early morning game drive in the park to see more of the different animals here. Expect to see impalas, zebras, warthogs, buffalos, hyenas, jackals, eland, and bush bucks among others. The game drive will last for about 3 hours before you exit the park to return to Kampala. You will have a stop over at the Uganda Equator and arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the late afternoon or early hours of the evening. The safari driver will drop you at your place of residence or Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home.
