Along the way, we expect to see lots of hippos, birds and crocodiles.

(Optional activity – visit KAFRED or go bird watching around Bigodi)

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

We’ll wake up at our leisure, and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park via the crater area. Our drive is featured with views of the twinning Rwenzori ranges all the way from Kabarole to Kasese. Depending on the time spent viewing the craters, we could have an en-route lunch in Fort Portal or Kasese and evening game drive in the plains of Queen Elizabeth national park to look out for some big mammals. This is another wonderful experience of viewing numerous wildlife in the water and on the shores; hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, warthogs and an array of bird species. We return to the lodge at the end of the boat cruise and relax.

Day 7: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, we set off for Bwindi via Ishasha. There’s a chance of spotting tree climbing lions in Ishasha while on a short game drive. On this 8-10 hours journey depending on the trekking sector, we shall have an en-route lunch and arrive at the lodge in the evening.
