3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari : If you have had a strong craving to encounter mountain gorillas and wish do so in just few days, this 3 Days Bwindi Safari is a perfect way to do it. While it is meant to start and end in Entebbe or Kampala, the safari is a scenic trip through western Uganda to the far southwestern, with a stop over at the Equator monument in Kayabwe.
Gorilla trekking will expose you to a fascinating unspoilt jungle, your allocated gorilla family, and later meet the Batwa people who lived in Bwindi for years with the great apes.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
We recommend you book a flight that lands in Uganda by 6:00 a.m, so you will meet our company representative who is also your safari guide for the tour and set off to Bwindi after break fast at a hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Your first stop over will be in Kayabwe for a photo moment at the equator monument. Drive through the plains of Lake Mburo, have lunch in Mbarara and arrive at your lodge in the evening after about 11 hours on the road.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking adventure and Batwa Community Walk
A early morning breakfast will be followed by a transfer to the park offices for briefing and this will take about 20 minutes. Enter the forest and start searching for the gorillas. The experience can take 3 to 4 hours or more depending on the location of the mountain gorillas. Apart from gorillas, expect to also sight monkeys, chimps and bird species including Kivu ground thrush, black-billed Turaco, African Emerald cuckoo, African blue, White tailed blue, and African green pigeon among others. You will stay with the mountain gorillas for an hour and head back to the lodge. Later, visit the Batwa community to spend sometime with them and learn about their culture through story telling plus traditional music and dance.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
Have your morning breakfast at the lodge and check out. Get on the return journey to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening and the guide can drop you at your place of residence or at the airport.
