Detailed safari

Day 1: Fly from Entebbe to Murchison Falls national park

After having breakfast at your lodge, the company driver guide will pick you, transfer you to the airport or airstrip where you will get aboard the light aircraft and fly to Pakuba airstrip. On arrival, you will be received by our company representative at the park and go for a boat cruise on the Nile. It is a 3 hours launch trip to the bottom of the falls with a range of wildlife to see including hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, elephants and different kinds of water birds.

You will make a U-Turn after watching the bottom of the falls; a breathtaking space where the River Nile penetrates through a small gorge, then splash down and continue to Lake Albert. Embark on a drive to the top of the falls where you will be thrilled by their thunderous power and enjoy showers at this point.

Drive to the lodge, have lunch and relax. Later on, head out for an evening game drive.

Day 2: Morning game drive and return to Entebbe

You will rise up early morning, have breakfast and head out for a game drive in the plains of the park. There is quite a lot expected to be seen; from hippos as they return to the waters after grazing in the night, lions and leopards after the night and early morning hunt and then the Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest, giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes and waterbucks are commonly seen.

After the game drive, you will pick your property from the lodge, head to the airstrip and fly back to Entebbe. Our company driver will drive you to your hotel or the airport terminal for your flight.
